Project Description

The project’s construction approach seeks to revive the idea of prefabricating lightweight parts in local wood as an alternative for creating a simpler and more dynamic construction site. Through design, we specify small parts that fit into a lean 5m x 5m modular structure, in order to simplify the building assembly process. The hydraulic cores are prefabricated in 5cm-thick reinforced mortar and transported for assembly directly within the construction site.

Project Concept

With the advent of the climate crisis, housing becomes a systemic problem. We have moved beyond the era in which housing was limited to the boundaries of each owner’s lot. Therefore, we propose, as an answer to the question of how we will inhabit the post-climate crisis world, the creation of a cooperative agroforestry management system in river basins and sub-basins. This proposal aims to restore areas degraded by extractive activities in forests, empowering the population to achieve independence from the extractive cycles that depredate their habitat. With this study, we also seek to demonstrate our support for a national project.
