The Cris Barros store uses innovative construction methods combining digital technology and artisanal techniques. The main walls are clad in custom ceramic tiles made from recycled clay and fluorescent light bulb fragments, fired in a kiln and finished with lime wash. Advanced 3D modeling, CNC milling, and laser cutting were used to execute the organic curves of the architecture, furniture, and display elements. Materials include reclaimed wood, demolition panels, and sustainable cladding sourced from environmentally conscious suppliers, emphasizing precision, durability, and minimal environmental impact.
The concept centers on celebrating Brazilian craftsmanship, sustainability, and authenticity. Inspired by the sensual curves of Brazilian modernist gardens, the design blends nature and art through organic forms, natural materials, and artisanal detail. The store dissolves boundaries between inside and out, retail and contemplation, aiming to reflect the brand’s values of environmental responsibility and local cultural pride. It creates a serene, tactile atmosphere that merges tradition with innovation, promoting a return to collective, handmade processes and honoring Brazil’s artistic heritage.
