Project Description

The design approach encompasses topology optimization and generative design testing, leveraging a series of software tools for 2D and 3D topology optimization. During the optimization phase, the focus is on optimizing predetermined columns and slabs under various load conditions, considering multiple loads and constraints. The process primarily involves stress flow analysis topology combined with porosity optimization. Ultimately, the connection effect between structural components and porosity is tested and evaluated.

Project Concept

The project combines topology optimisation and generative design, focusing on optimising load-bearing elements such as columns and slabs under various conditions. By analysing stress flow and porosity, the study aims to improve structural performance and material efficiency. This research project aims to use technology to revolutionise concrete construction by enabling the creation of intricate structures, this approach seeks to reduce energy consumption and environmental impact. Ultimately, the research strives to offer a more sustainable and innovative approach to construction using advanced optimisation methods.
