Project Description

The architectural concept of the project is guided by the juxtaposition of horizontal volumes with strong proportions, articulated fluidly across the site. The formal composition is defined by exposed concrete blocks that overlap, at times cantilevered, at times directly supported, creating a sense of structural lightness despite the use of massive elements.

The construction technique employs cast-in-place reinforced concrete with board-formed textures, giving the exterior surfaces a continuous and tactile quality. This choice emphasizes raw materiality and a handcrafted aesthetic while ensuring structural strength and durability. The cantil

Project Concept

This project emerges from the pursuit of an architecture that dissolves into the landscape — not through absence, but through belonging. The careful placement and measured volumes reveal a structure that engages in dialogue with its surroundings, honoring time, nature, and light. Materials such as board-formed concrete, wooden mashrabiya, and large glass surfaces create a fluid relationship between inside and outside.

The volumetric composition is defined by dense, horizontal elements that appear to rest upon one another with unexpected lightness. These are heavy blocks that, through proportion, rhythm, and balance, seem to float. The interplay between solid and void results in a precise visual dynamic, where structural weight is offset by formal delicacy — an architecture that finds harmony between presence and suspension.

The mashrabiya, a traditional element reinterpreted with contemporary subtlety, acts as a filter between exterior and interior. It offers solar protection, cross ventilation, and privacy, while also adding texture, depth, and movement to the façade. Light passes gently through its latticework, drawing shifting patterns that evolve throughout the day.

Inside, the spaces open generously to the garden, inviting nature to enter. The material palette is restrained yet expressive. Wood, stone, and natural finishes reinforce the intention to create a serene, timeless, and sensorial shelter.

More than a house, this project proposes a way of living — a way of inhabiting time, light, and place with care and intention. A quiet and grounded architecture that honors the essential.
