A home on one of the most prominent roads in Cape Town.
The building is a response to the extraordinary site on the slopes of Table Mountain. It is arranged as a series of stacked strata, horizontal slabs with the mountain landscape pulled down onto them, that accommodate the house’s programme in a nature-positive way. The building is seen as a lens or filter through which one experiences the landscape and nature at a micro and macro scale.
