SHORTLIST UNBUILT & CONCEPTS | High Rise Buildings

Project Description

A complete and complex building focused on promoting the well-being of users, passersby and all forms of life in Brazil’s largest city. Neighboring one of São Paulo’s most important icons – Ibirapuera Park -, Leaf Loefgren was created as a promoter of urban interactions and connections, like a breath of innovation in the city.

With spaces designed for a variety of uses – residential, commercial, corporate and public leisure – the building sits on a challenging terrain, with slopes of 7 meters overcome by pilotis that provide physical and visual permeability to the complex of multiple squares, paths and possibilities.

Project Concept

The project brief was clear: the building should break paradigms and delight occupants and passersby, setting a new standard for the neighborhood. Therefore, its design creates a closer relationship between users and the urban space, through a project that values the surroundings and promotes well-being and quality of life for all.

The sophisticated technical and aesthetic design is the main distinguishing feature of this project, which goes far beyond aesthetic solutions. It provides the best possible experiences for the people who will use it, improving their lives and the surrounding community.

The project aligns public and private spaces, creating several access points to the building and connections between streets through walkways and squares that open up visually to the city.
