Manhã redefines vertical living through light, nature, and permanence. With 30 spacious units (249–434 m²), the project positions a single tower at the back of the site, preserving a large central garden anchored by a native Araucária tree. Common areas include a panoramic outdoor pool, wine and social lounges, spa, gym, kids’ space, and a firepit lounge, all seamlessly integrated into the landscape. Materials were selected for their durability, timeless quality, and celebration of Brazilian design. Circulation and ventilation follow bioclimatic principles, maximizing natural light and cross-ventilation throughout the building.
Inspired by the first hours of the day, as “manhã” means morning in Portuguese, the project centers around the preservation of a centennial Araucária tree, which became both symbol and starting point for the design. Instead of maximizing the site with two towers, a single vertical volume was carefully positioned to preserve a lush central garden anchored by this native tree. This approach reverses conventional development logic, prioritizing quality of life, green space, and emotional connection at the core of the project.
Designed by Studio Arthur Casas, the building is gently angled to receive the full splendor of the morning light, becoming a peaceful retreat in one of Curitiba’s most vibrant neighborhoods, Batel. Light filters through the lattice of brises and flows freely through open spaces. Pure forms and natural materials create a contemplative and welcoming atmosphere.
The architecture embraces the softness of light, the presence of vegetation, and the slow rhythm of early mornings, offering a calm and elegant counterpoint to the intensity of urban life. The project reflects timeless design and a strong commitment to sustainability. It is a place designed to grow more meaningful with time.
