The Ohtake collection for Roca is rooted in the observation of nature and the pursuit of fluid, organic forms. It consists of: Wahsbasins and Bathtub
The Ohtake collection, originally created by Ruy Ohtake, began with washbasins that evoke the softness of ocean waves and the purity of an egg’s form. Now, Rodrigo Ohtake carries this legacy forward, bringing a new interpretation to the line with countertop basins and a freestanding bathtub. With organic design and fluid lines, the basins are inspired by the calla lily flower, known for its elegance and simplicity. They explore the subtlety of curves and the interplay between asymmetric forms. They are made from Fineceramic®. The bathtub draws inspiration from the traditional Japanese ofuro. Its taller and more compact shape, combined with an integrated seat, offers a more upright and comfortable posture, promoting a meditative and sensory experience. The piece includes a functional step—crafted from recycled materials—for easier access, as well as a shelf that serves as a support for bath items. It is made from Stonex®, Roca’s exclusive material known for its strength, durability, and non-slip properties.
