Project Concept

Invited by a prominent São Paulo entrepreneur, Carlos Rossi Arquitetura developed the design for a distinctive residence of approximately 3,000 m² on a 16,000 m² plot, located in one of the most prestigious areas of São Paulo. The site’s unique topography—with an elevated plateau and an extensive area of native forest on a slope—served as the starting point for the project, which seeks to sensitively and boldly integrate architecture, landscape, and experience.

The residence is organized into two main volumes. The upper, curved block houses the suites and enhances the views of the forest and the partial city skyline. On the ground floor, the social areas open onto the landscape, highlighted by a large living space and a gourmet area suspended over a reflecting pool, seamlessly integrated with an infinity-edge pool that faces the greenery.

Reflecting the client’s social lifestyle, the design includes generous spaces for entertaining, including a soundproofed party area in the basement, which connects to a collector’s garage designed for sports and racing cars. On the same level, the wellness area features a spa, gym, saunas, and a heated pool—naturally lit and with private views of the forest.

As a central gesture of integration with the land, an elevated walkway was created to float among and above the treetops, offering unique experiences: open-air dining, relaxation areas, a suspended hot tub, and social spaces immersed in nature.

This project reaffirms the firm’s commitment to honoring the site, personalizing architecture, and creating atmospheres that unite sophistication, functionality, and environmental sensitivity.
