Studio KHOA VU is an architecture practice based in New York City and Ho Chi Minh City. Its work investigates architecture at the threshold—where existing structures meet new uses, where climate becomes spatial form, and where cultural memory is reinterpreted through contemporary construction. Rather than treating architecture as an autonomous object, the studio develops projects as frameworks for mediation and transformation. Typology, structure, material, and atmosphere are used together to reshape how people move, gather, retreat, and inhabit. Across adaptive reuse, interiors, residences, cultural projects, and research, the work begins with specific conditions and produces precise but open-ended spatial experiences. Working between the United States and Vietnam, Studio KHOA VU seeks an architecture that is locally grounded, environmentally attentive, and capable of making the familiar newly perceptible.
