SHORTLIST INTERIOR DESIGN | Residential

Project Description

The house is built with a monolithic reinforced concrete frame and brick infill walls. The ventilated facade is finished with natural stone, composite wood, and metal, combining structural strength, thermal efficiency, and a refined architectural look.

Project Concept

This project is a natural continuation of our approach to boutique development, where the architect and the client are one and the same. The guiding principle of FEDOROVA architects remains unchanged:
“We design and build as if for ourselves — timeless architecture.”
With a total area of 1,100 m², the house was conceived as a universal yet distinctive living space — designed to suit any modern family that values refined aesthetics, comfort, and architectural intelligence.

The interiors are contemporary, light, and enveloping, with a palette rooted in natural, tactile materials. Contrasting accents add rhythm and structure, without disrupting the overall calm. The space feels soft and intentional — curated, yet never overdone.

At the heart of the home is the main living area, defined by its sense of openness and connection to nature. Floor-to-ceiling windows on two sides dissolve the boundary between indoors and out: on one side, a dense line of trees brings the forest within arm’s reach; on the other, a sunlit clearing opens up, at the center of which stands a three-meter sculpture of a meditating elephant.

Visible from every angle, the sculpture becomes the quiet soul of the house — a visual and conceptual anchor.

The interiors follow an architectural logic where the shell itself is a self-sufficient composition. Everything placed within — art, objects, lighting — is meant to complement and enhance the structure, never compete with it. The result is a space that feels thoughtful, composed, and deeply personal — a balance of form, texture, and meaning.
